Chicago Wedding Venue with a View

The Penthouse Hyde Park is a unique Chicago wedding venue that opened its doors in 2020. I immediately fell in love with this event space because it has so much history tied to Chicago.

My clients, Fatimah and Malik, chose The Penthouse Hyde Park because of the beautiful Chicago skyline views. Wedding guests enjoyed the iconic Chicago buildings from the terrace all the way until sunset. The photos speak for themselves.

Fatimah and Malik were a VIBE.

I loved the fact that they were unapologetically themselves the entire night.

It was THEIR wedding day and they soaked in every single moment.

For this reason, I suggest to hire the right wedding vendor team so you can just focus on this special day.

Cinderella Wedding Dress Moment

We started the day at Fatimah’s house for the getting ready photos.

Unsurprisingly, my jaw dropped when I saw Fatimah’s wedding designed by Reem Acra. My favorite detail of the this long sleeve lace wedding dress were the Swarovski crystal net shrug that sparkled on the bride’s arms and shoulders.

When I saw her slip into the dress and look at herself in the mirror, it definitely felt like a Cinderella wedding dress moment.

Chicago Zaffa Band

Before heading out to the wedding reception venue, the Chicago Zaffa band arrived to the bride’s house to start the party. The live band is a typical element of Arab weddings. During this part of the day, the bride and groom danced outside of the bride’s house to traditional Syrian and Egyptian marriage music. Undoubtedly, the entire neighborhood and passing cars came to watch the wedding festivities.

Classic Black and White Wedding Theme

Later in the afternoon, we arrived to the wedding reception venue. If you ever dreamed of a timeless black and white wedding design, The Penthouse Hyde Park does a lot of the heavy lifting. This Chicago event space literally has all the elements to a classy upscale aesthetic.
