Hilton Oakbrook Resort is a beautiful wedding venue in the Chicago suburbs for a wedding ceremony. Fortunately, we had the pleasure of photographing a nikkah ceremony at this Chicago wedding venue.

We had the honor of photographing and filming Sumaira and Faizan’s nikkah ceremony at Hilton Oakbrook Resort . We were supposed to have an outdoor ceremony, however, Mother Nature decided otherwise. But with quick thinking Amer Designs and the hotel were able to set up a perfect spot in the venue for the nikkah ceremony.

Wedding Day Overview

I just want to point out that things may go wrong at your wedding but if you have hired reputable wedding vendors you can still have a great event! We were still able to create a bright and airy feel for the photos that complimented the decor, outfits and ambiance of the celebration.

One unique element of the nikkah ceremony was that the couple opted for a unique crystal curtain adorned with flowers under a floral canopy. The couple sat on opposite sides for the nikkah with their family members close by. It was a very intimate and sentimental moment!

Sumaira and Faizan were so down to earth and easy going! Sumaira’s makeup was done perfectly by Bushra Abbasi . Although it was raining outside, the festivities were in full swing because at the end of the day, it’s the time spent with family and friends that counts! There was so much LOVE in the room! We were so happy to be a part of this huge milestone! Both families love photos and we are passionate about taking photos so it was a match made in Heaven!
