In January 2026, we had the incredible honor of photographing Karan and Evan’s intimate 100-guest wedding at Ashley Castle in Chandler, Arizona. After 16 years of photographing South Asian and multicultural weddings in Chicago and across the United States, I found Ashley Castle to be a great Italian inspired venue that feels like a world away.

What made their day truly special was the seamless blend of Punjabi cultural traditions with American wedding elements – all within a non-religious ceremony that honored their heritage while reflecting their personal values. From getting ready at a friend’s house to the bottle boys finale, every moment was thoughtfully planned.

Ashley Castle is Perfect for a 100 Guest Civil Ceremony

Ashley Castle can accommodate up to 300 guests, but there’s something magical about how a 100 guest wedding feels in this venue. Karan and Evan’s celebration felt both intimate and spacious – never crowded, always elegant.

The venue’s architecture creates a fairytale atmosphere from the moment you arrive. The back garden area, with it’s stunning desert scenery, provides the perfect backdrop for golden hour portraits. We captured gorgeous couple photos against the natural Arizona landscape with the warmth of the January sunset creating that dreamy, romantic glow.
