Sri Venkateswara Swami (Balaji) Temple In Greater Chicago

We frequently photograph South Indian weddings at Balaji Temple in Aurora, IL. Tejas and Dakshayani’s Telegu wedding at Sri Venkateswara Swami Temple was an intimate, colorful and musical Indian hindu ceremony.
What we love about Chicago Indian weddings is that they are so colorful! It’s like you are transported back to India and you get to witness the ancient traditions of a hindu ceremony in the most authentic way…down to the instruments that are played!

South Indian Wedding Mandap

The traditional wood mandap decor was adorned with colorful red and pink carnations.  The wedding aisle was lined with hindu goddesses to welcome the bride and groom to the mandap. Red is a very popular color and this specific style is perfect for South Indian couples looking for a simple, classic mandap design.
